Mostly big yellow trucks

One-Way Rentals

A one-way truck rental means you pick your vehicle up here, hopefully at Personal Space, and drive it to your destination anywhere in the Continental US. Click the link above to see the four trucks we offer for one-way moves. These trucks are available to both household and commercial customers alike.

Local Rental

A local rental is when you pick a truck up and drop it off generally at the same location. Exceptions can be made. Within San Diego County a one-way rental can be priced and treated as if it was a local rental. Inquire with your agent. We have a much larger variety of trucks available as local rentals. Click the link above for examples. To pick up your vehicle at Personal Space it must be 26000 Lbs. or less GVW (does not require a commercial driver's license). Larger trucks are available at our Penske Dealerships and we can help you make arrangements. For longer trips, repeat customers, or rentals for extended periods, negotiated rates are available.

Household Customer:

You are a household customer if you are moving your stuff, or the belongings of a friend or relative without charging them for your services. All persons who might drive the truck should be included on the rental agreement. Any insurance coverage purchased or included for a household rental that turns out to be in actuality a commercial rental may be disallowed. For additional information on personal insurance options click here.

Commercial Customer:

You are a commercial customer if you are being paid a fee. If you have a tax id number for your business and you are moving items that belong to your business or are items in the process of being purchased by your business, you are a commercial customer. Commercial customers must either purchase our insurance, both Limited damage waiver and Liability, or provide proof that you are independently insured. All persons who might drive the truck should be included on the rental agreement.
